Invent a holiday! Explain how and why everyone should celebrate.

It’s strange how sometimes the right words find us exactly when we need them.
Today’s prompt — “Invent a holiday!” — arrived just as I was feeling overwhelmed by how much of life revolves around money.
How every emotion, every gesture, even simple acts of love or care, somehow seem tied to what we can afford.
So if I could invent a holiday, I’d call it…
No Money Day —
a gentle pause from the constant hum of transactions.✨✨✨
A day when wallets close, cards stay untouched, and we remember what it feels like to connect without spending a single rupee.
No price tags, no receipts — just human presence.🌸🌸🌸
We’d visit friends and family without gifts,
share homemade food, exchange stories,
and remind each other that affection doesn’t need packaging.💞💞💞

No Money Day isn’t about rejecting money;
it’s about remembering that while money sustains life,
it shouldn’t define it.
It’s a small rebellion — a return to simplicity.🌿
Because sometimes, stepping away from money,
even for one day,
reminds us of everything it can’t buy —
love, warmth, peace, and the feeling of being enough. 🍀
When we stop counting what we earn, we start noticing what truly counts.
Love – Shama ✨
